Introducing Our Starter Scenes

Introducing Our Starter Scenes

You have poured your soul into your story and your campaign, but something feels like it is missing. All the map ideas you have drawn are piling up, and you don't know where to go from here. But there is something you have yet to try... you've thought about it but never truly wanted to commit; now here you are. Instead of drawing your scenes, you've decided it is time to build them. 3D modular terrains are new and emerging. If you don't know where to start, don't worry; we made that easy for you.

Our Starter Scenes are a collection of 3D modular terrains that can be used for most tabletop games. This selection offers a variety of scenes to build your campaign on. You can connect and expand these scenes, one by one.

Starter Scenes:
  • A Rough Start - Some adventures begin in a tavern. This one begins face-down in the sand. Wreckage, barrels, ruins, and enough environmental details to make it clear that something went wrong before the party ever got here.
  • A Friendly Visit - Tombs line the grounds, statues watch from the shadows, and a mausoleum waits nearby with treasure tucked inside. There's even an empty fountain. Well, one of them is empty.
  • Med Bay - The good news? You found the med bay. The bad news? Something happened here. Med Bay gives you a full sci-fi medical scene built for rescues, investigations, experiments gone wrong, and those moments when opening one more door is definitely a terrible idea.
  • The Predicament - Every adventuring party has a plan right up until they wake up behind bars. Tall stone walls close in around the scene, two cell doors keep everyone where they're supposed to be, and a set of double doors stands between the party and whatever counts as freedom. How they got there is up to you.
  • The Wayward Inn - Your players walk in expecting ale and gossip. They don't know about the trapdoor*. Built into the floor, hidden in plain sight, ready for the exact moment you need it. A shakedown that turns into a fight. A quiet exit for a rogue. A secret nobody at the table saw coming, because it was never in the description. It was under their feet the whole time.

*Disclaimer: There isn't a real trapdoor in the Wayward Inn encounter; it is a storytelling point used to help the reader generate ideas for the campaign.
