Every adventuring party has a plan right up until they wake up behind bars.

The Predicament gives you everything you need to build a prison encounter your players immediately want out of. Tall stone walls close in around the scene, two cell doors keep everyone where they're supposed to be, and a set of double doors stands between the party and whatever counts as freedom.

How they get there is up to you.

Maybe the rogue finally got caught. Maybe surrender was part of the plan. Maybe everyone wakes up missing their weapons with absolutely no memory of last night. Either way, getting locked up is only the beginning of the encounter.
